I know, I know, this is probably the kind of shot, that everybody visiting Venice takes. Nothing special, but I like this analog bnw photography, and it’s full frame too 😛
I love to shoot people in street photography on film, because you can always find situations like this. My wife and I stopped for a glass of wine in a small local bar in Trieste, and this man was sitting near me. When I took my camera to take this picture, he started fooling aroung, and was very happy, that I wanted to take a picture of him.
I just got another wonderful information that my fine art photography Poland sereies “Menace” just won a bronze medal in Budapest International Foto Awards BIFA 2024 in Analog / Film – Fine Art category. HERE is a link to photo competiton site and my winning entry.
I just came back from city Żary in Poland where three of my photographys won a Grand Prix and a Golden Medal in XXXIV National Artistic Photography Competition 2024. Here are some photos from the exhibibition in SWA ŻARY and my fine art photography Poland. I am very happy, because the winnig images come from my latest Urban Absurd series “Menace”, and they are real hand made darkroom prints, made by myself in my darkroom.
Today I received really good news. I was awarded a Honorable Mention in Neutral Density Photography Awards 2024 in conceptual fine art photography section in Conceptual category. It is very important for me, because the awarded photographs are from my latest Urban Absurd series “Menace” that I just finished working on. HERE is the link to my award site.
This image was a honorable mention in a photography contest called “Interesting about antenas”. I shot it in Tenerife during a photowalk with my Nikon FE2. Of course it is an analogue manual focus street photo Poland.
I just got a dipploma for the honorable mention in the “Interesting about the antenas” photo competition. Of courste the picture I sent to the competition wasa a black and white analog photography Poland.
This photo from a rainy Venice with a graffitti phrase “Live is too short to be negative” fits best at my film photography blog as a first one to post from my last week trip to Venice and Trieste in Italy. The weather was awful but my wife and I spent there few very nice days and stayed positive all the time.
Last weekend I visited Italy, where my solo exhibition “Gourmand” was presented as part of Trieste Photo Days and Urban Photo Awards. There were twelve photographs all together. I am very happy, because most of the pictures in this event was street and reportage photography, so my conceptual fine art photography Poland was something different. Besides the exhibion, my pictures are present in official Thrieste Photo Days album called “Urban”. Below are some photos from this wonderful event.
This is one of the last pictures that I shot in Prague, and one of my favourites. I like the bored face of this lady selling cigarettes in one of small kiosks in Praque. Perfect picture for my street photography blog.
