Today I received really good news. I was awarded a Honorable Mention in Neutral Density Photography Awards 2024 in conceptual fine art photography section in Conceptual category. It is very important for me, because the awarded photographs are from my latest Urban Absurd series “Menace” that I just finished working on. HERE is the link to my award site.
I just got a dipploma for the honorable mention in the “Interesting about the antenas” photo competition. Of courste the picture I sent to the competition wasa a black and white analog photography Poland.
This photo from a rainy Venice with a graffitti phrase “Live is too short to be negative” fits best at my film photography blog as a first one to post from my last week trip to Venice and Trieste in Italy. The weather was awful but my wife and I spent there few very nice days and stayed positive all the time.
This is one of the last pictures that I shot in Prague, and one of my favourites. I like the bored face of this lady selling cigarettes in one of small kiosks in Praque. Perfect picture for my street photography blog.
I don’t know what the sign says, but it composes well with the lady in the background. I suppose it has something to do with the construction that was taking place on that street. Soon I will post more street photography on film from Prague.
Analog street photography is not only about capturing instant moments, it’s also about taking street portraits like this one. This old man was sitting on a bench in a park, ready to light a cigarette. I interrupted him and took a quick portrait picture. One of my favourite from Praque.
Few shots from the “Singular” group exhibition in Echos Studio gallery in Sao Paulo, Brasil where one of my conceptual fine art photography is exhibited. Due to a very long distance from Poland I couldn’t be there, but thanks to the gallery members, who provided us with detailed pictures from the opening ceremony.
It was very hot during our visit in Prague this year and the sun was burning mercilessly creating very harsh shadows and strong contrast. I think that such a strong contrast is very good for this photo making it perfect for my street photography blog.
I’ve been to prague with my wife on a romatic trip this summer to celebrate our wedding aniversary. We were without kids, so we could wonder around the city and take pictures for five days. I shot two rolls of film there. I decided to publish this picture first, because it is the essence of analog street photography for me.
This is another shot from my analog street project “Falowiec”. The photography itself maybe not the greatest one, but I like the graffitti on the bottom of the picture which in polish means “Stop the bullshit”. Pure street photography Poland.
